Wholesale Telephony Solutions for Non-telephony Developers

The Lypp API allows Carriers, Service Providers and independent developers to build add-ons to the Lypp service or integrate Lypp into other applications and networks.

1. For carriers, the Lypp API was written so that we could easily port it to any softswitch, voice application platform, voip switch etc. Carriers can now extend their own service offering without having to re-think the entire network.

2. For service providers, think of the Lypp API as the Amazon Web Services of VoIP. Lypp offers a complete service toolkit that not only gives you the API but also delivers the complete telephony service as well, without having to invest millions into infrastructure.

3. For application developers, it is a brainless way to bring advanced telephony into existing or new applications (web, mobile, client-server, et al). The API is free and so is a developer account, you only pay for what you use, just like Amazon Web Services.

How easy is it to use? Real easy…

ruby script/plugin install http://lypp.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/plugins/lypp
Use our new ActiveResource plugin to easily and seamlessly integrate Lypp with your Ruby on Rails project. The plugin’s README file provides usage examples for most major API operations.
